Student of the Month Story Final
With a lot of hard work
and dedication, Hannah Erington was Student of the Month at Bowie High School
for the month of April. She worked really hard for this position. Her family
and teachers were very supportive and helped her achieve this title. After a
lot of hard work and preparing she finally was student of the month.
"I was so happy
when I was announced student of the month" Erington said. “I have
been waiting a while to find out if I would be student of the month, and now
knowing that I am, I am so relieved
and excited.”
Hannah Erington does a
lot of extracurricular activities such as being on the track team and swim team
at Bowie.”
“Hannah deserves to be
Student of the Month because of everything she has done. She is so focused on school
and keeps her grades up while she is on the track and swim team.” Principal of Bowie High School said.
Erington kept up her
grades even with swim practice and track season just starting.
“Hannah is always
focused on her school work but she was extra focused this time around,” said
her math teacher “she made sure she turned in all work on time and studied very
hard for her tests”
Hannah had to stay up
very late most nights to study and finish homework.
“I have an off period as
a freshman. Most people don’t get an off period till junior year so this was a
really nice advantage.” Said Hannah
Hannah had 1st
period off on A days.
“I am very proud of
Hannah. She was always studying at home and I think all that good work paid off!”
Said Mr.Erington
Hannah’s family and
friends are very proud that she achieved her goal.
The next student of the
month will be announced at the end of April 2015.
